Cardamom and Copper futures fall 0.51 pc on weak global cues

Cardamom prices fell by 0.53 per cent to Rs 765.40 per kg in futures trading today after speculators booked profits at prevailing levels, driven by a decline in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July month declined by Rs 4.10, or 0.53 per cent to Rs 765.40 per kg in business turnover of 664 lots.

Copper Amid a weak trend in the global market and subdued spot demand, copper prices fell 0.51 per cent to Rs 406.75 per kg in futures trade today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in August shed Rs 2.10, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 406.75 per kg in business turnover of 2,118 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in June traded lower by Rs 2, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 401.80 per kg in 2,075 lots.
