Tracking a weak global trend,silver futures prices today fell by Rs 574, or one per cent, to Rs 39,910 per kg, as speculators trimmed positions.

Similarly, the white metal prices for delivery in September lost Rs 516, or 1.10 per cent, at Rs 40,455 per kg in 1,668 lots.
Nickel prices fell by 0.40 per cent to Rs 828.20 per kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded positions amid sluggish demand and a weak trend in the global markets.
