RBI On Monday imposed penalty on ICICI bank, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank for violating guidelines related to KYC norms. The Central bank also imposed penalty of Rs 5 crore on Axis Bank.
Thursday, Axis Bank shares moved 9 points at NSE traded 1284.00 touched high of 1291.10 and low of 1257.40.
ICICI Bank shares dropped 0.78% traded at 1072.75 and HDFC bank shares down 1.35%.
Bank Nifty Index declined 100 points. Bank Sector is weak today.
