ICICI Bank, L&T, State Bank of India, Hindalco Industries, BHEL, Tata Steel and Vedanta were top gainers on the Sensex, up 1-3 percent. Reliance Industries, Lupin, Bajaj Auto and GAIL lost more than a percent.
